The book Snitch is written by Allison van Diepen and is based on a true story. This story I would recommend to young adults because it has to deal with peer pressure, drugs, gangs, etc. Even teens in our school are having to deal with some of these things and it makes you want to keep reading because it pertains to people our age. This book is about a young girl named Julia DiVino that is trying to stay out of gangs and do things right but its hard with all of the peer pressure and bad influences in her school. When she meets a guy she really likes, Eric Valienté, things go bad because she starts to join a gang and ends up having to move away from her love so she can change her life and better her future. I would recommed this book to anyone that is facing peer pressure and want to read a book that will keep them on the edge of their seat.

Interesting! I read this book too and really enjoyed it. It's scary to me to know these things really happen.
