Busting Vegas; Ben Mezrich

He looked up from the chips, at the two pit bosses. Even though Semyon and Allie had just jumped their bets to sixty grand in one hand, the pit bosses weren't suspicious at all. They had bought Semyon's act completly. They would have never guessed that Semyon had actually manipulated the cards to deal his own teammate an ace. Christ, this really was to freaking easy. Semyon looked at Allie, and she matched his eyes. "Well, Dyevchik, are we ready for another hand?" Allie flashed her eyelashes at him. "Of course, Nikolai. The night is just getting started." Victor was right. They were going to bring the casinos to their knees.
This book tells the tale of the MIT whiz kid who brought the casinos to their knees. Upon stumbling across a sign that read "Make money. Play blackjack" Semyon was falling into a slump Massachusetts Institute of Technology or known as MIT. Staring at green computer screens everyday all day created a lack of boredom. Semyon is very sharp in his classes, but somehow this black jack sign that had the word money on it stopped his doing. Within a few weeks Semyon was practicing card couning, learning three techniques, and making it on the black jack team. Semyon went from staring at computer screens all day to playing blackjack in casinos like Monte Carlo. Not just playing blackjack, but winning huge. This books tells the secrets to how Semyon Dukach beat the blackjack system with a team. To me this book was one of the best ones i've ever read. This book is based on a real story which makes it really interesting. The book is confusing at first, but once you get it, you won't be able to put it down. I'd rank this book a 5/5.

I Just finished the book The Big Empty by J.B. Stephens. This book is about how a sickness swept the United States and killed hundreds of thousands of people, the disease is called Strain 7. Some people survived the sickness but only to live in a severely restricted nation. The miltary controls everyone, the military is the police in the new nation. If anyone breaks any crime they get shot or hung. There are curfews for everyone and if anyone are on the streets after a certain time they are shot on spot. Some people just couldnt live this way. So a few people go on a journey threw the Big Empty (the new nation) in search of a new life and well being. This book isnt based on one character but many. This book tells a little bit about there lives as you go threw the book. This book wasnt bad but i have read better books. I would rate this book 6 out of 10.

This book is an easy read. Orlando Johnson was a big drug dealer in his time befor he got sent to jail and then his son Ty took over his buisness. This buisness is a rough buisness for Ty running the streets since he was 13 or 14 he learned to never get into his customers emotional life. Sonny is Ty's main man in the buisness even though he get's all the crap if something wrong goes down. Buisness is going well for Ty he's got Crip brother's and Blood Hommie's but he keeps that on the down low. When the Darkman comes into town he tries to take Ty's costumer's from him. This book is full of action also life and death situation's.
