Cut

Cut is a book written by Patrcia McCormick who is also the author of other books that have what i call the same type of writting but about different things. It is about a girl named Callie, that has been cutting herself for sometime now. The cause of doing this has lead to her being admitted to a mental institution called sea pines. She doesnt talk during the first month or so at all a girl there gave her a nickname s.t. for silent treatment, she also called sea pines; sick minds. She does continue to cut for sum time through out the book even while she is in the institution. The girls sat by the same disordered people as them kind of like little groups which were the food issue girls which are the biggest mojority there (anorexic, and way over eating). The next dissordered group was the "druggies" or wat they call substance-abuse issues, then girls like Callie who are called assorted psychos. But she does get better once she starts talking and talking about her brother sam and how hes always sick and shes to blame for one time he had an attack. which causes her mom to be super protective and over clean and her dad is always at work or out and now hes really working to pay for her treatment. Once she realizes that not everyone hates her and the things she was blaming herself for and has an amazing talk with her dad she starts really working at getting better.

One Good Punch

The book One Good Punch by Rich Wallace was about a young man, Mike, and he was a senior in high school, and the school does a random drug search and they find 3 or 4 joints in his locker. It wasn't his fault that they were in there. He wanted a couple of joints for him and this girl for a Friday night because they were going to hang out and watch a movie and they wanted to get high. The guy that Mike was going to get them from decided to just put them in his locker and not tell him about it. Mike found out about the drug search and then he found out that the guy put the joints in his locker. That whole weekend he spent trying to get into the school to try and recover them so he didnt get caught, because he was a big time athlete and he was already filling out applications for colleges so he could be successful in life. He knew that if the school got them before he did, then he would have gotten expelled. That weekend he could not get into the school. On Monday, Mike was sitting at a table eating lunch with the guy who put the joints in his locker. The school liasion officer and the principle came over and asked for him to come with them. The officer and the principle both knew right off the bat that Mike was innocent, because he was one of the schools best athletes, and he was thought of to be the most successful in the long run after school. The principle and the cop offered him 3 or 4 days to come back in there and tell them who it was that put the joints in his locker and he was going to be off the hook and back to school. However he felt guilty because he asked for the joints for him and this girl so he didn't think that it was the other guys fault. So he decided not to go back in there and tell them about Joey putting them in his locker and he just took the blame, and got expelled from school, kicked out of all the sports, and got fired from his job. I really enjoyed this book, and I give it a 4 out of 5 and I recommend it to people who like suspenseful books.

The Dark Tower, The Dark Tower VII

The Dark Tower, The Dark Tower VII is the last installment in the Dark Tower series and i feel the best book in the series. Even though the ending wasn't approving to myself the rest of the book really grew on me and is filled with exciting adventure and suspense that had me reading non stop. The beginning of the book starts out with Callahan and Jake about to break into the Dixie Pig where Susannah and he possessor, Mia were held captive to give birth to Mia's baby, Mordred who is too be born to kill his white father Roland. Jake and Callahan break in and finds hundreds of low men and Cantoi in the building. They both fight there fight but Jake and Oy are sent to save Susannah as Callahan dies when he finds god again when he slowly is being devoured by the low men and shoots himself with Jake's Ruger to not feel the pain. As this is going on, Eddie and Roland go and try to find Stephen King and to save him from being killed.
I give this book despite the ending a 10 out of 10 and the whole series 10 out of 10 i recommend this series to anyone that likes to read
