The book Everest by Gordon Korman is the first in a three series book where there are 20 contestants and only 4 could be brought up the tallest point of the world. The main characters were Tilt, Chris, Dominic, Sami, Perry and Ethan. Ethan and Chris were the two best climbers, under the age of 18, out there. When Ethan decides that he doesn't want to climb for summit Everest anymore, there is a big jolt in the team. Before it was Chris, Sami, Perry and Jessica. When Sami starts to sleep walk it creates a very bad environment for the others on the team. When the last four make it up Lucifer’s Claw and the sleepwalker happens to fall down and get very hurt, two people step up and take control. You can bet that one person is Cap but who is the other? Read to find out. I give the book a 9/10 because it has alot of good parts in it but is a smaller book and I wish it could of had alittle more.
