Wizard and Glass, The Dark Tower IV

Wizard and Glass, The Dark Tower IV, is the fourth book in the Dark Tower series. Wizard and Glass talks about Rolands past and how he got too the point he is right now. In this book it goes off from the ending of the recent book in the series, The Waste Lands where Blaine stops in Topeka, Kansas after being over-loaded with "bad" and "stupid" riddles that Eddie came up with too save his friends lives from Blaine's insane attempt too kill himself and his "friends". But they crash land in Topeka and they explore there surroundings. As Roland and his fellow gunslingers, including Oy, go about exploring they find that they're near a deadly Thinny, which is an evil white void that feeds on everything and creates a sickening noise and it nauseates the gunslingers. They also find that there in there world but in a different time and reality. for example, instead of the baseball team, Kansas City Royals they find out that in this world there the Kansas City Monarchs. They also discover that the Topeka perhaps the world was destroyed by a Superflu. Anyway they start to journey off too what seems like a building with a nimbus surrounding it. but as the sit for and rest for the night Roland tells a story too his friends about the grave story about his time in Hambry with his past friends Alain and Cuthbert and how they battles the Big Coffin Hunters and the traitors of the Affiliation and how he met Susan, the love of his life and how she then burned and died on the Charyou Tree for Roland. After this depressing story and night they soon head off too a gate that stood before the Green Palace. As they thought and discussed about the Wizard of Oz and how it seemed soo familiar they found a pair of red shoes for each of them and they so realize that they have too clack there shoes simultaneously too open this gate. Then they head into the Green Palace. As they head in they see a very disturbing and famililar and sickening sight. It was Blaines Train car room that they were in and they soon confront The tick tock man and Flagg or Walter, Rolands nemisis. They kill the tick tock man and then Flagg puts them inside the Rhea wizards glass which was described in Rolands story and Rhea is the Witch that ultimatly killed susan. In the Wizards ball, His friends witness Roland killing his mother because Roland thought that that she was Rhea. After there horrible expierience in the wizards ball they wake up in Mid-world and they go off on there journey to the Dark Tower.

The Dark Tower series gets better and better each time i finsih the book and i look forward to the next book and will mostly get even better! i of course give this book a 10 out of 10 and i encourage all that are fans of fantasy fiction to read the Dark Tower series.

Roof Top

Rooftop by Paul Volponi is about a boy named Clay he lives in the projects and is in a drug treatment facility called daytop. When his cousin Addison who he hasnt seen or talked to since their family had a argument leaving them to go their own ways shows up at daytop Clay can't believe his eyes. When the two families find out they go to daytop together they have a long talk and the family dispute is finally over. But when Addison starts playing dice it might just be the last thing he does. As they chase the boy for Addisons money they end up on a rooftop, Addison dead and Clay in shock. Will the truth come out on what really happened on that roof top or will it be stuck inside Clay forever. I thought it was a ok book. I would rate it 5 out of 10. I wouldnt really recomend it to many people because it got very boring during some parts and dragged on but when they got to the core of the book i thought it was very good.

The Waste Lands,The Dark Tower III

The Waste Lands, The Dark Tower III is the third book out of the Dark Tower series. The book follows the footsteps of the second book The Drawing of the Three. The whole series so far is phenomenal but so far this is the best book out of the two that I have read and it seems too get better as I move on to the next book. But it all starts out with Eddie, Susannah and Roland camping out in the wilderness, surviving the wild and having Roland teach Eddie and Susannah to how to become true Gunslingers. But as the story rolls on, a lot of strange signs and events occur and creates a lot of tension and relaxation for Roland. Because Jake, Roland's first companion to join his quest to find the Dark Tower and the man in black, comes back to life but he lives on in the real world. But even though Jake was killed in the first book from dropping from a mountain, Jake manages to remember everything that he had gone through in Mid World (which is the world Roland and his current travelers are in at this moment). But all this was discovered when Eddie confronts a cyborg bear and the bear was Jake's sign which led to the fact that Jake is still alive. But to get Jake back to Mid World Eddie finds out that he has too make a key out a piece of wood that they soon discover by throwing the jawbone of the Man in Black's into a fire. As the travelers go on through a vicious and backbreaking adventure they finally rendezvous with Jake which filled Roland with Happiness and joyfulness and same with Eddie and Susannah. After this event they all follow the beams that lead to different portals which all the beams meet up in the middle which means that the Dark Tower is there. They also encouter alot of conflicts and action through out the book.
The whole story is very long and full of excellent details, i could go on but there are too many things going on and i would probably fill this whole page up but all the things that go on makes you glued too each and every page making you want too know every outcome and detail on what is going on because it is such a great story too read. Rating this book 1-10 I give this book a 10 out of 10 because I've enjoyed this book and of course this series so much and i hope people that like to read Fantasy, Science Fiction, Action, Drama and adventure book will get a chance to read this epic tale.

Prom by Laurie Halse Anderson

Award winning Laurie Halse Anderson wrote PROM a story about a "normal kid" named Ashley Hannigan. Many teens spend hours planning out there prom night to the point where it has to be perfect. Ashley was not one of them girls, she could care less about Prom. Ashley only worried about graduating from Carceras High School, and her many detentions that had to be served. Ashley had a boyfriend named TJ who was barely ever around, a crazy family, and a best friend Natalia who was head of the Prom committee. When Nat found out the math teacher had stolen all the money Ash had no choice but to help, But with the assistance of her family, her friends, and the school staff it all worked out. It's unlikely to have Ashley, a girl who hates prom, at last minute pull off Prom on a very low budget but in the end it turned out perfect and not only made everyone happy but changed Ashley's thoughts in all sorts of ways; Read this book to find out how Ashley pulled it off!

-->This book was very interesting and made me realize that its not always just about yourself. I enjoyed reading this book and would recommend it to other teenage girls.
-->If i had to rate this book out of 1-10; 10 being the highest i would give it an 8 =)
