Venomous by Christopher Krovatin

Venomous is a book about a teenager, Locke Vinetti who has a serious anger issue that he addresses as "The Venom". Now, we're talking anger such as beating in a kids face in under two minutes for simply pushing aside somebody Locke loves. He deals with his anger by thinking of it as a different person, a completely different side of him that he wants nothing to do with. It's sad to read how hard it is for him to keep relationships with people just because he can't handle his anger. He lives at home with his single mother who adores him and he loves her just as much as well, and a little brother, Lon, who he absolutely loves, there is nothing Locke wouldn't do for his little brother. It's so hard on him when he does disappoint Lon because Lon is everything to Locke. But soon Locke starts making new friends and letting people in, in his world and things might just be getting a little better. I mean if he's happy in life "The Venom" is sure to go away, right? ... I think is was an excellent book and I recommend it to just about anybody.
