Go Ask Alice is an actual diary from a girl in her teens. This book takes you into this young girl's life for a couple years as her diary and best friend. It shows you the life of drugs and what it's like to take them. As well as what can happen when you take them. Many bad things have happened to this girl because of her taking drugs. Some of the time she was even tricked into taking them. It is horrible to read how people can destroy someone while they are high. But it's because it's a horrifyingly true story that makes it appeal to people to read. I enjoyed this book because of how real it is, it isn't just some fanatsy story it is real life which helps you relate more to the book while reading it. It is sad to read how badly drugs affect her. But i would deffiantly recomend this book to anyone.

they got the title for this book from a jefferson airplane song called white rabbit. great song, probably a great book too. its all about the positives and negatives associated with drug use and the journey to "wonderland".
