The Drawing of The Three, The Dark Tower II

The Drawing of The Three, The Dark Tower II, is the second book in the Dark Tower series by Stephen king. This book is as great as the first book full with action, drama and epic adventure's that will keep you attached to the book until your done with it and will make you want too read on and on until you hit the next book in the series. The second book starts out with Roland, The Gunslinger, waking up on a beach and is suddenly attacked by a monstrous lobster-like figure which soon calls a "lobstrosity". As Roland loses his index finger and middle finger on his right hand and losing his big toe on his right foot he kills the lobstrosity. With his wounds untreated and are starting to get infected, Roland starts too lose strength and begins to become feverish. Throughout his struggling adventure through the long never-ending beach he stumbles upon three doors. These three doors lead to his soon to be discovered companions and explain what the tarot cards are for(This is explained at the end in the first book The Gunslinger). In the first door it reads "The Prisoner", he enters the door and he discovers Eddie Dean, who is a street-smart heroin addict which describes him as "the prisoner" Eddie joins Roland on his quest to the Dark Tower and becomes an Gunslinger. The Second door leads to the "Lady of Shadows" Odetta Holmes. Odetta has multiple personalities such as Detta and Susannah, which this labels her as "Lady of Shadows" because of her many shadows. The Third door leads to Jack Mort and is labeled "The Pusher". Who is used too help Roland get ammo and medicine for his journey.
This book is an amazing book which is as good as the first one. An must read for people that are Stephen King fans or even any reader that love action filled adventures. i give this book a 10 out of 10! It really made me never want too drop the book.
