CRANK

This book is based on a true story written by Ellen Hopkins. This book is about Ellen Hopkin's daughter Kristina Snow who is a great daughter that does very well in school, has a lot of positive friends, she stays out of trouble, etc. Kristina decides to go and see her dad who she never gets to see because hes out of her life but she now has Scott, her new step dad which she doesn't seem the happiest about. While Kristina is visting her father she meets a boy that is troubled and a lot different then Kristina. This is when Kristina meets her new self, Bree someone that wants to fit in so badly that she lets the "monster" in her life...CRANK. Will she be able to stop or will this become an issue? Read CRANK by Ellen Hopkins to find out.

****If I were to rate this book I would rate it a 5 out of 5 because this book made me want to keep reading about Kristina's journey through life and it's a great book for young adults to read because they are facing these types of peer pressure just like Kristina.
