Tricks by Ellen Hopkins

Tricks by Ellen Hopkins is a book about falling in love. But the "right kind of love" is another story. It's about five different teenagers all with a different background and story but they all end up in the same place by the end of the book. All five of them have it hard at home and look for ways to find the love they can't find at home, from someone else. But the people they go to isn't always the best to fall for. Sometimes looking for that love and care by someone, when you're not being picky about who it is, can be very dangerous. Like all of Ellen Hopkins' books, it is written in poem form and makes it a very easy read. It's a great book about finding love in all the wrong places and trying to survive without love or with the wrong kind.
